Ukraine claims that Russian shelling in Mykolaiv destroyed a cancer Centre.

According to Ukrainian officials, Russian shelling has destroyed a cancer hospital and many residential structures in the southern city of Mykolaiv.

In an effort to surround Mykolaiv, which is located 470 kilometres (292 miles) south of Kyiv, Russian soldiers have increased their offensive.

Russia is accused by Ukrainian officials of attacking a cancer hospital and many residential structures in the southern city of Mykolaiv with heavy weaponry.

Several hundred patients were at the hospital during the incident, according to the hospital’s senior doctor, Maksim Beznosenko, however no one was killed. The attack damaged the structure and blew out windows.

In an effort to encircle Mykolaiv, approximately 470 kilometres (292 miles) south of Kyiv, Russian soldiers have increased their offensive.

Russia was accused by Ukrainian and Western authorities of bombarding a maternity facility in the southern city of Mariupol on Wednesday. That incident resulted in the deaths of three persons.
